My journey into end-of-life care began a decade ago with a personal loss, and more recently, when witnessing my grandparents age while my parents shoulder the responsibilities of caregiving. Reflecting on the significance of planning—or sometimes the lack thereof—in the face of mortality, I became a certified End-of-Life Specialist and Doula with the DoulaGivers Institute. I also hold a professional certificate from the University of Vermont as an End-of-Life Doula and am a member of NEDA the National End of Life Doula Alliance. I understand both medical aspects and compassionate support.
With a dedication to patient-centered care, I also prioritize the well-being of those surrounding the dying individual. This led me to engage in training as a Grief Educator under the teaching of David Kessler. Through Simply Intentional, my holistic approach aims to empower both patients and their loved ones through education and compassionate support, fostering a sense of understanding for all involved.
Death can be a profoundly isolating journey, one that no individual should navigate alone. I've consistently found fulfillment in fostering community bonds, whether through my entrepreneurial ventures, volunteering with organizations like Hospice and the Red Cross, or immersing myself in new cultures abroad. My background in Economics has provided me with a unique avenue to forge connections within diverse communities.

I look forward to connecting and getting to know you.
